Collin Sexton exploded offensively in Brooklyn, and made this a very easy choice for our staff.
Sexton brought in high expectations for the Stampede, and he delivered in a big way, putting up two 30+ point scoring games en route to a 2-1 session record.
Sexton is much more than a volume a scorer. While his 39.0 FG% leaves a bit to be desired, his high school season statistics indicate that number will improve.
One aspect that stood out in Sexton’s game was his aggressiveness; the 6-foot-2 guard got himself to the line 25 times during the first three games.
Expect Sexton to continue his high scoring, but also expect his numbers to come down to earth, as Head Coach Aljami Durham implements a rotation stocked full of talented scoring guards.
Sexton picked a great weekend to go off, and his recruitment has already taken off. The Pebblebrook (Georgia) guard immediately picked up offers from Georgia Tech & Oklahoma State. He will be visited by Tulane & Iowa State later this week, per Corey Evans.
